It’s no secret that journalism in Sweden is becoming more and more centered in the big cities, which can lead to a lack of local scrutiny. Through our project, we want to help fill some of the gaps that used to be filled by local journalism. By continuing to use right to know by using Freedom of Information legislation, we tested how municipalities maintain and improve democratic transparency.
